Overview

The Jomsom to Muktinath trek in the Mustang region of Nepal offers an incredible insight into this ancient and spiritual landscape. Jomsom has been a trekking destination in Nepal for many decades, and provides a nice jumping off point for exploring the lower Mustang region and the pilgrimage site at Muktinath.

While technically a section of the Annapurna Circuit trek, this option provides a shorter taste of what the region has to offer.

• Day 1 : Pokhara to Nayapul in car. At Nayapul, we gegun the trek to Hile – 5 hours
• Day 2 : Hile to Ghorepani – 6 hours
• Day 3 : Ghorepani to Poon Hill then Tatopani (hot springs). – 6 hours
• Day 4 : Tatopani to Ghasa – 6 hours
• Day 5 : Ghasa to Marpha – 6 or 7 hours
• Day 6 : Marpha to Kagbeni – 5 hours
• Day 7 : Kagbeni to Muktinath, take place of a Hindou temple – 4 hours
• Day 8 : Muktinath to Jomson – 6 hours
• Day 9 : Flight from Jomson to Pokhara the morning and Pokhara sightseeing
• Day 10 : Go back to Kahmandou by bus and farewell dinner
