Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is a beautiful adventure trekking in the Langtang Region of the Himalaya. Langtang was the worst hit trekking region by the devastating earthquake in 2015 that badly destroyed infrastructures and precious lives there leaving the remaining into miserable and vulnerable condition. But now, with the basic infrastructures built and safety measures checked, trekking in the area is already in the operation.
A wonderful Langtang Gosaikunda trek combines the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang with the high mountain lakes at Gosaikunda. The biggest sacred Hindus Holy Lake. The trek follows a well-established trekking route along the region. It brings incredible experience of culture of the ethnic tribe living in the region along with the joyful excitement of beholding breathtaking mountain peaks up close. While exploring Langtang Valley, Kyanging, Kyanging Ri, Laurebina La Pass, Gosaikunda, and several other places, you will be as high as 4,610 meters above the sea level with overnight stops mostly below 4,000 meters. Only place that you spend overnight above 4,000 meters is at Gosaikunda at the elevation of 4,380 meters above sea level.
.The route is designed for the holy trek. It is in the Rasuwa district at the surface of the Langtang region. The track formed by Langtang National Park is our main walking path.
The jungle area creates difficulty in walking. This gives us a magical and thrilling experience. We can see the diverse landscape. Our main destination for the trek is Gosaikunda Lake (the holy Lake of Nepal).
All water passes through gorgeous natural spring water. Bathing in Gosaikunda Lake, our shrines are decreased.
Till now it is followed by our ancestors. Leaving this our main attractions are the oldest monasteries, beautiful landscapes, and local tribes. Combinations of all these things impress us so much. We get refreshed from our hang-ups.
Langtang Gosainkunda trek starts from Syabrubesi with a scenic 7/8 hours drive from the historic city Kathmandu. It’s a suitable moderate trekking destination in Langtang Region without challenges.
The trail goes through the fascinating Tamang and Sherpa community villages with amazing dazzling mountains views and flora and fauna, passing many ancient monasteries, temples, and typical villages along the way then we have a final ascent to Lauribinayak Pass (4,609 m/15,121 Ft),
