Makalu Base camp trekking is one of the best treks for adventurers to explore the remote and untouched wilderness of Nepal. The trek is a blessing with pristine landscape and natural beauty. Visiting the ultimate destination being Makalu Base camp at an altitude of 5250 m. Makalu (the fifth highest mountain) with its beauty and diversity, attracts many adventure-loving tourists.
This journey starts with a scenic 45-minute flight to Tumlingtar and drives all the way to Num and treks all the way to Makalu Base Camp and comes back trekking.
Makalu Base Camp Trek is located in the Makalu Barun national park which is one of the national parks and was established in 1992 AD with the aim of protection and conservation. The lower part of this region consists of tropical and subtropical climates whereas the upper part consists of an alpine and arctic climatic zone. During Makalu Base Camp Trek you can observe multiple ethnic groups people, their customs, culture, tradition, and way of living. All the multi-cultured people and diverse flora-fauna can be seen in the lower part of the National park. After crossing river Arun the trail goes all the way up to Makalu Base Camp crossing several passes, streams, Jungle, and meadows.
The trek is far from the resilient sheer visit of homestays and remote villages which has the lesser facts of our glorious passage into the heights of himalayas. The most defiant fact of the human civilization is the closeness of nature and the fossils of human identity still the place of flaw of beauty is untouched in the depths of those who have dare to distinguish the journey of pleasure and hardship. As for many people and trekkers the fact of real world and the fact of dimensions are the shapes of our efforts to seek our place of heaven like earth which is the search of the place in mountains.
Its unlikely the foot of himalayas can’t be reached but its a dare of nightmares we would conquer in the journey of trek to Makalu Base Camp.
